Bought this a couple years ago. Not at all in the league of your guys watches ($250 and Chinese), but I’m not really a watch guy. Just appreciated the mechanical nature of it.

BE CAREFUL!! RESIST!! DON'T SUCCUMB TO THE WATCH SIREN SOUND! CANCEL THAT VISIT IMMEDIATELY! (You've been warned...lol).Reading this thread was a mistake. Not ever really been a "watch person" but now I'm looking at booking a visit to a Christopher Ward show room because that Bel Canto is stunning.![]()
Christopher Ward has been hot lately! They have several really nice watches that I've been keeping an eye on. The C12 Loco being one of them: https://www.christopherward.com/int/the-c12-loco-watchesReading this thread was a mistake. WHAT...you're doubly to blame Dragoon since you're an administator (have you no shame; lol)...putting me back down the "watch rabbit hole" and I'll now have to face the wrath of "she-who-must-be-obeyed" when I get home from work tonight (sigh). I wasn't familiar with the Christopher Ward (CW) watch brand and your post "forced" me to check it out. I've now just purchased one of my dream-type watches, in terms of function: the CW C1 Bel Canto, due to its hourly "chime complication". I've owned a grandfather clock for many many years and always loved its chime which brings more life into my household, and now own a wristwatch that will chime every hour. I can hardly wait to get it! So this is my very round-about way of saying THANKS...but on behalf of my spouse, not so much. She's already not pleased with the amount of time I devote to this Forum...how will I explain to her that it's also a "watch Forum" (???) when she was convinced my "watch Forum" days were long behind me. Oh well.Christopher Ward has been hot lately! They have several really nice watches that I've been keeping an eye on. Well done! You'll love how comfortable it is and the details on the dial that don't translate in photos.View attachment 76866

NICE watch! Here's a thought: as an administrator, you're likely in the best position (?) to contact CW, let them know about this thread promoting their product...and negotiate 15-20% off for any Forum members who purchase any CW watch in the future. Too late for me, but something to think about for others? Or maybe organize a "group buy"? Perhaps for a special Lotus themed watch? I'm not sure if that's something CW would consider, but maybe it's worth a try? There look to be some dedicated CW fans on this Forum.
And even better it's the Dark Side!!!!!I need to unsubscribe from Christopher Ward's emails because the force is strong with this one!
