The watches thread

OK I'll play as a former "watch flu" guy and former Rolex owner - Champagne DateJust was first and then a "Blusy" Submariner 116613LB. I then "graduated" to a now vintage 2010 Patek Calatrava 5153J-001, as I prefer yellow gold and the "hunter caseback" of this dress model with a history back to WW1. My next purchase will be a AP Royal Oak with blue or silver dial.

I reached out to their marketing team, and they weren't interested in working with us directly, but if we could get enough people together, we could go through their Bespoke design process to have our own Lotus or Emira inspired watch made.
I was worried about the licensing implications when using the Lotus and Emira logos. So, Lotus Marketing wasn't interested in organizing a bespoke run, but was OK with using the logos?

Oh, wait. Did you mean the Lotus Bespoke design process, not the Christopher Ward Bespoke process?

I reached out to Christopher Ward. We would have to get permission from Lotus to use the name(s), but we could work with CW to design a watch that used colors and a design language suggesting it was inspired by our cars.

I would love to have an Emira lotus watch.

I think many people would, but each at different price points. That makes it challenging to organize a bespoke design for the group...

I would love to have a Bel Canto variant (because everyone else on this thread seems to have gone out and bought one!!!) but I doubt many other people would be willing to shell out $5K to $6K for a watch.

Something at one third the cost would be more affordable, but TBH there isn't anything "special" about the watch itself. (lots of space for Lotus and/or Emira logos)

Or something in between. (Actually, I kind of like these... No space for Lotus or Emira logos, but would look nice in Lotus themed black/green/yellow)

Stirling watches are another brand that do personalised pieces. A department I used to work in had around 50 pieces commissioned and presented to us. Possibly worth a look?

Wow, these are real no-nonsense time pieces! Affordable, and bespoke orders start from a minimum of 10 pieces.

I think this GMT with the correct green / yellow and Emira logo and silhouette would fit nicely. Can't get the web site to display in US Dollars... around $750 ?
