Does anyone else suffer from a squeaky drivers seat? I can't quite make our what's causing it but I think it's coming from the lower bolster area, as if springs inside the seat are making a noise as I move about with the movement of the car. Could also be on the mechanism that links the lower and upper parts of the chair flexing but not sure.

Since it's an easy check, check the plastic side trim that partially covers the lower seat.

Some have reported that digs into the leather (mine did, I used a rubber edging trim to line it up and protect the leather) and sometimes that can cause squeaks. I doubt that's your issue, but since it's super easy to check, it doesn't hurt.

After a few days of not being able to find the cause, your suggestion prompted me to look more closely at the plastic side trim and sure enough the plastic trim was not actually properly fitted. Initial squeak sorted… now I have the leather against plastic squeak I think you’re referring to so I will try what you suggest. You killed two birds with one post there 😅

Had a good drive this morning and no more squeaking. Great advice 🙌

I put edging on my seat, and it cured my squeak as well.

@jp129 I also used the rubber edging you mentioned off Amazon. My seat squeak was rare but I haven't heard it in the first few drives. Edging looks factory. Thanks for the great tip!
