Apologies in advance for text wall

Hello everyone, I'm on the fence about filing a Lemon Law claim for my Emira. It is by far the best driving and fun car I've ever driven, but the dealership has almost had my car more than I have, and I've had nothing but issues since the first day.
I would really love some insight and advice from those who love the car like I do.

Here's my timeline:

Purchased in Florida(Palm Beach Lotus) in March 2025, New 2024 model, car lives in Oklahoma. Purchased with 7 miles, currently at 8140.

Noticed paint blistering, subwoofer popping, and P0111 intermittent CEL putting car in Limp Mode. Florida dealer also neglected the car and it needed to be taken to a body shop to have sections repainted.

1st service(76 days) : Dropped car off 21 June 2025 at nearest dealer (Earth Motorcars Dallas) for aforementioned issues.
Picked up on 5 September 2025

2nd service (Still at dealer, 39 Days as of 10 Dec 2025) : Dropped car off 1 November 2025, for peeling dashboard, P0111 limp mode still happening, subwoofer popping again, license plate lights shorted out, windows calibration off(windows automatically go up after they auto roll down)

As of today, the dealer has had my car for 115 days(45% of my ownership) and counting, and I've had it for 140. There's been multiple issues, and repeated issues that I've brought to them before..

Less than 10k miles and less than 1 year of ownership.

So EmiraForum.. What's your advice?

Looking at this again, I'm not sure if you have a case, and you should consult an attorney.

As mentioned this is state specific, I think you're looking at TX as that's where your service center is/was.
Googling, for a non-safety, warrantied defect you need to give the dealer 4 times to try to fix it
for a safety issues it's 2x, and car out of service >30 days.

Your argument is not safety. # of fix bar isn't cleared. Your issue is service time, but I'm not sure what's warrantied or not.
I think that's likely dealer related, unless it was a parts availability issue. In either case, email a local (to dealer) lemon law attorney and seek actual advice on your situation.

Gio is a great guy, and I've had lots of good discussions with him. Currently waiting on the dash assembly is the last update I got.

In my view though, after a certain amount of time, isn't it kind of irrelevant what we're waiting for? Especially for something as simple as shipping a part...

I don't mean to come off the wrong way, but just like your post... Super frustrated lol
Why can’t you have your car while you wait on the dash part? It’s not mechanical

Hey OP, I bought my 2024 Emira new in August of 2025 from a dealer who bought it wholesale from the same Palm Beach Lotus dealer. I had a CEL within 100 miles. They did a coolant flush and replaced the thermostats. I also had the same dash issue where the dash leather peels away from the steering wheel centerline piece. I also took mine to Earth Motorcars, and they replaced the entire dash. It took a while for the the entire dash to arrive from overseas, and it took about a week for them to replace it. Afterwards, Gio said they came out with a technical bulletin on a simpler fix for the leather issue. But, I am sure our issues stem from the cars sitting in the Florida sun for way too long.

Can you share that bulletin? My dash also split, they got a full dash in. I’m driving it since it’s just aesthetic but if there’s an easier way to repair without dismantling entire dash… that sounds great

They didn’t give me a copy of the bulletin. Gio and one other service advisor mentioned it. You could call Earth Motorcars/ Lotus of Dallas 214-438-9040, press 4 for Service, and ask for Gio to inquire further about it.

I did look for it on NHTSA. There is a manufacturer’s communication dated 11/25/25 on there that sounds like it, but I’m not sure if that’s what they were referring to or not.
