Red interior seen in the wild

Taken from a post on FB, someone did a great job of sneaking up on a white prototype Emira with this gorgeous red interior.

I saw the white interior in the wild and thought how plush it was and nicely fitted,but I'm glad I've seen an example of the red also now,as its my spec.

Great work! I've ordered red too.

The photo colour balance looks a bit strange there (almost a dark salmon), probably because its taken through a reflective glass window. However you can see the seats being much tighter fitting and the three backrest embossed stripes are included. Dare I say these are now the final fit/finish seats.

I was actually concerned that it would be "too red", but this balance is perfect.
It fits tight, looks neat, well presented - dare i say possibly better than Porsche.

My expectations was to match Porsche interior for me to get back into Lotus - i personally think they have excelled.

Wishing I had gone with the red, feared it would be too much red on magma so I went with alcantara red stitch instead.

Seats look good AND the stripes are present.

But also, who the hell leaves a backpack in the front seat of their parked car?

I think alcantara will suit magma perfectly as well. Not a bad choice. Red with red is always risky .. I would have gone the same way as you sight unseen.

There’s definitely enough black contrast in the interior to go light on light…. I’m planning to brave the Yellow and Tan with BP….

Pretty sure the black one is the non-KEF. I've seen pics of a red interior door that has the silver KEF grille.

Yes it will. The base audio won't have the fancy aluminium grilles reserved for KEF, rather black painted mesh ones.
