Has the retail cost gone up?
I noticed the apr had changed recently but now my monthlies have gone up even more. Have I missed something?
Cheers

Thanks Tony, I’d noticed the apr increase and my deposit was decent so not sure why the increase?
Think it’s got to do with the cost to borrow money on the markets. Interest rate has gone up progressively since the original finance figures were released. Unfortunately these costs may rise again if the emira cars aren’t shipped before the Bank of England raises rates again.

How much has the deposit gone up by?

Could be a sign of being offered worse residuals maybe? Given the Apr rate changed a little while ago.

The Year 1 VED fee on the V6 has also gone up in the last 2-3 months, as the emissions figure from type approval was slightly higher than the forecast and took it into the next band. Cost of the tracker went up in March/April, if you had that as an option.

If the Residual value goes down your payments will of course go up but you will owe less at the end of the agreement. I think what Tony was getting at was that the original 2k deposit to get a priority slot has now gone up to 4k. Usually a good credit rating and a minimum 20% deposit will get you approved straight away, but with a small deposit or bad credit rating or borrowing over 80k they will be all over you for checks.

Repeat business with a finance company always helps to.

It is mainly due to the emission amount of the car but also higher taxes.......
Below a comparison of The Netherlands versus other European Countries a couple of years ago for a Ford Mustang.....

france with is 30 odd thousand euro tax based on CO2 would now be right up there also.... and Spain is certainly a lot, lot higher than germany now with a 14-16% registration tax for top bracket CO2

Also if you sell a car privately, the buyer has to pay around 5% to be able change name.... incredible taxes some countries have.... and we think we are the only unhappy ones
