Pictures from Andrew at nineteen80one of the Seneca Blue show car readied for the Silverstone dealer event.

As well as being a talented car photographer, Andrew is a fellow Lotus owner and participant in community events. Check out his other work here:

Love the fifth photograph (from the top). This collection of photos sheds new light on Seneca Blue and makes it look absolutely superb... (y)

Just like the old cartoons. I have Verdant Emira on one shoulder and a Seneca Emira on the other shoulder and they are absolutely nasty to each other while they each try and convince me. Great photos. I like all types of cars but there is just something to be said about a simple design. This car will go down as the simplest exotic design in history. Struggling to think of something that compares to it.

Bear in mind there's a level of post processing here. Although you can clearly see the metallic fleck in some shots.

Andrew did a photo shoot with my Exige. Here's the difference between professional photographer with some moody lighting and me in daylight with a phone camera - it could be a different car :)

That's a bad ass car.

This is all helping me firm up on my choice of Seneca  . Yellow and Magma were making we wobble, as was the idea the everyone and their dog would be ordering the same colour as the launch/roadshow car. The latter notion seems to have been disproved by the colour poll on here, with blue, yellow and green all about equal and Magma now well out in front.

I think you are right absolutely right about the plaudits this design will get. Every single car i see in the comparisons has an awkward angle or one or two bum notes - and these are from top automotive brands and designers!

The only aspect of the Emira's design I had any question-mark over was the height of the roof-line, but that disappeared after I saw it in the flesh.

Depends if the photos are for commercial use or personal/hobby.

My Exige was on sale at Silverstone a couple of years ago, before I owned it, and Andrew wanted to add it to his portfolio. We only discovered after I bought it that it was the same car.

Somehow I missed your post, but what a difference...absolutely superb! (y)

Would love to have a photoshoot of the RGB and Emira, when it arrives.
