Pretty much nothing was cheaper than $8500 for full ppf so not that much of a difference but there is the extra $1500 calibration fee as they have to remove bumpers. On the plus side, they can spray more layers to make the lower sections thicker and it can be buffed and polished like clear coat. I think it was worth the extra $1500

It appears to have a texture or heavy orange peer, is this correct?

Looks pretty good, no dirty cut lines like you often get with normal PPF. Interesting that they offer a life-time guarantee as from everything I have read spray-on PPF only lasts 2-3 years compare with the 5-6 years of the better film PPF. Does the guarantee only cover defects and that it remains peelable?
