Nimbus Grey Lotus Emira Photo Thread

As in my pic, provisionally it’s Nimbus Grey with black roof and ice interior for me. Probably throw on yellow callipers as well. Love the way it shows the lines of the car, just can’t wait to see the actual colour rather than a render. If it looks the same, metallic or not, it’s a done deal for me.

I’m pretty sure it’s a clay styling model, covered in “clay foil”. The blacked out windows are a clue.

I'm pretty bad at photoshop but managed to squeeze out a few renders of the nimbus car changed to silver which was going to be my colour of choice if it was available.

I like this, but still not convinced on the black wheel trend - which seems to be waning?

When I was at concourse of elegance they said that lotus was aiming for a more Audi nado grey / Porsche crayon kind of colour ..
I hope this is this case because with the black pack this would look lovely in my opinion 👌🏽 Perhaps a little greyer than below 👌🏽

In this light it looks absolutely stunning, I’m leaning with the majority at the moment with the blue but this does look nice

I still can't wait to see a final color sample of this paint color. For me it's definitely going to come down to white or Nimbus Grey. In that photo you posted, the color looks amazing!

Well seeing the sample it looks like they are way off target - just looks straight up silver

I like the pictures that have been put on above but seeing the pics of what they looked like on the wall that tom has taken makes me think we might be way off ….

@TomE would you say the pics of the car above are similar to the sample you put on the wall???

As I’ve said on one of the other threads, doing a good render of a metallic is really hard. I think the picture shows the colour but not the full effect of the fleck.

I couldn’t find a comparable coloured car at B&C to put the sample against. But I think this picture of the convex sample is a good representation:

Thanks Tom it’s appreciated . I’m buzzing just trying to work out if it’s more normal grey or more nado grey .
it looks like my c63s colour , would you say it’s similar ?

Similar, a bit lighter - more towards silver and away from gunmetal if that makes sense

It would be great if anyone attending a dealer viewing could take the sample outside and try to find a comparison car. The various photos I've seen have issues with exposure, especially on the concave side.
