I called Lotus Cars USA to find out when my dealer would get the Emira on the roadshow, and they told me that my dealer is not on the schedule and that not every Lotus factory authorized dealer is on the Emira roadshow tour... I would like to thank Lotus Cars for not acknowledging their depositors/customer base who, in good faith, put deposits down months ago, and that not everyone who put a deposit down will get to see their future purchase in the flesh until they order it and it shows up for them to pick up sometime in the summer of 2022 and beyond. Apparently, this whole roadshow thing is being handled by Lotus UK and not Lotus USA... There are not that many dealers in the USA, how could they not give the car to each dealer for an evening?
I guess only some dealers are worthy, and I guess only some customers are also worthy?
Do you consider yourself worthy..?

I recall hearing that the Chevy dealers had to pay a Fee in order to be on the C8 tour. Many of these lotus dealers have much more expensive cars in their showrooms, but I would think they’d see the benefit of a higher volume car (especially one that still isn’t exactly inexpensive). Is Lotus requiring the same of their dealers?

There's like 4 Lotus dealers in the US.. Figured they could make at least 3 of them. :ROFLMAO:

On a serious note.. I'm driving a total of 4 hours to see the Emira at Lotus of North Jersey in December.

Maybe this is why I’ve not heard from my dealer. I’m going to try to get to Jersey in December. Where are the other options?

again, poor marketing by LOTUS.

How dare you need to see your car that you have a substantial deposit on while at the same time also not knowing the V6 base price or pricing of options.... how dare you !!

you peasant !!

you should feel lucky and honored that LOTUS even accepted your deposit, and not ask any questions. You are asking way too much of LOTUS !!

They are LOTUS, you are just a peasant.

Fort Lauderdale on Los Olas Blvd rooftop of a parking garage - tickets are $150.00...! Oct 29th

Free champagne 🍾, caviar and escorts.....?
I'm curious, there's a fee to attend whether you are a confirmed depositor or general car-loving fan? That champagne isn't so free.

How hard would it be for Lotus UK to publish the US Roadshow Schedule? A rock band plans a tour and publishes the schedule a year ahead of time. I guess Lotus is not a Rock Star! They are acting like a garage band, no pun intended.
If they can't mail 6 color samples to the US dealers and the roadshow starts in 5 days...
well - I guess you get my drift...

So this will be the 2nd car I have purchased without seeing the real thing! Excited.

No complaints. Never want to see another car again before I buy!

I have been wondering the same thing. It's like a mystery where you can see this car.

When is it. I’m a depositor obviously, but my dealer has not been very communicative and I do have family in Indianapolis. Long trip, but may be worth it.
The date and time is listed in that invitation attachment.

Dec 5 and I think it's intended for folks who pre-ordered from Gator Motorsport but it may be worth a phone call (very helpful team at Gator) to see if they would make an exception
