Yeah, it still has a shiny sheen in direct light.
Quite fabulous actually. In the flesh it gets huge compliments as it really accentuates the curves.

Is your car a stock V6 manual?

Hopefully it will be compared with some other equivalent manuals (Cayman GTS manual and M2 manual perhaps?).
Otherwise even a moderate hot hatch with a DCT and launch control is going to embarrass it. As we know it's not a fast car off the line from zero. But it should do ok in the rolling races and brake tests.

Well, not stock.
Has a Larini de-cat and Larini custom backbone.
It is lighter and I did notice it felt a tad faster and/or delivered with more aggression.

Impressed how the emira put the power down. I’m not sure if the GT4 has straight line advantage given all the other platforms are FI. I would expect the GT4 to crush the brake test.

Not modded. The Supras BMW engine is underrated. And the auto helps a lot. If it had a tune at all it would have blown the doors off everything.

The Emira I4 would have decimated all of the cars.

Sometimes I consider that maybe I bought the wrong Emira. And that maybe I should have gotten the AMG I4.

Then I listen to the Valvtronic exhaust videos and nope. I definitely bought the right version.

The i4 DCT is a tad faster, makes some good noises still and is likely better as a daily driver. The V6 with a manual box is more about engagement and is, IMHO, just a better experience on the 'special' journeys.

One of each would be good though. The i4 I would heavily modify and make it 90/10 track biased.

Nice to see the Emira holding its own, especially in the rolling races.

Automatics should not have been included. The 382hp supra manual actually lost to the Emira in the Hagerty quarter mile drag, 12.6 vs. 12.9. In that race the Emira launched better than the BMW M2 and Mustang dark horse but suffers on the 1-2 up shift. The power is clearly present however.

If autos are fair game, the Emira I4 would have made more sense. It's cheaper, more powerful and better suited for drag racing.

According to The Internet, Lotus makes barely running garbage with “dodgy” reliability, and you just can’t match Porsche quality, workmanship, and mechanical perfection. I’m pretty sure no Porsche has ever suffered a mechanical breakdown, so this video was either staged, AI, or both.
