There's tyre pressure to 2 decimal places, but for love nor money can't find an oil temperature gauge!

To be cautious I'm waiting about 10 minutes after the water gets to temperature before working the engine hard. Seems about right for oil temperature?

Unfortunately, the oil temperature isn’t available on the Emira’s dashboard — not even in the sport or track modes.

You can only access that info by pulling data via OBD, using tools like OBDEleven, Torque Pro, or similar apps that read from the ECU.

Bit of a shame, considering it’s such a useful metric.

Unfortunate for sure but I assume the low temp light is setup that at that coolant temp at idle the oil temp is sufficient for driving. If you are going to be rough with it let it get fully up to temp driving before going to town.

Since the engine oil cooler is a heat exhanger with the engine coolant, the engine oil and engine coolant should be the same temp. When the engine oil is cool, the coolant gives up heat to the oil, when the oil is hot, it gives up heat to the coolant.. the coolant is maintained at ~200F by the radiator. So, read your engine temp gauge to determine engine oil temp. (yes, it would've been nice if they measured it separately and more importantly included oil pressure).

Even with an OBD scanner you won't get oil temperature readings because there is no such sensor
