As already discussed on the UK Lotus events thread, July will see the first major UK Lotus owners event with customer Emiras attending.

This year is also the 10th anniversary of Lotus in the Peak and after two years of Covid restrictions on car events it is likely to see a large turnout. There are already over 100 cars registered and it could easily get to 150-200.

The event includes various meet ups, organised runs, time to explore the area and a convoy drive. It concludes with a static display at Chatsworth House on Sun 10th. Details of the event are here if you'd like to join: https://www.facebook.com/LotusinthePeak

You're also welcome to come along as a spectator on any of the days, particularly the Sunday at Chatsworth. This will be a good opportunity to see some of the early customer Emiras. I think there are 4 already registered.

I thought I'd maintain a list of who is going, so others know which colours/specs will be there and who else from the forum will be attending so we can meet up and say hi. Post up if you're going and I'll maintain the attendance list in this first post.

Participating with an Emira:
  • TomE: Hethel Yellow, Black Pack, black leather, diamond cut wheels, black calipers, no privacy glass
  • 770K: Magma Red, Black Pack, tan leather, black wheels, yellow calipers
  • Tonyshepp: Nimbus Grey, Black Pack, black leather, silver wheels, red calipers, privacy glass
  • Leonard: if car arrives in time
  • NickEmira: Seneca Blue, Black Pack, alcantara with yellow stitching, diamond cut wheels, yellow callipers

Participating with another Lotus:
  • Lankan: Exige RGB, white

Spectating on Sunday 10th without a Lotus:
  • Rammie
  • Gizmo750
  • New to Lotus (may be in Emira as due in July)

I’ll be there on the Sunday, no Emira yet though unfortunately, waiting for the call lol

Winnats pass is in Castleton; the road out towards Edale. Great roads. A trail of Lotus cars would be a great photo on that stretch of road.

Anyone else signed up with an Emira or planning to come and meet up?
I will be there hopefully with my Emira, but as I am July delivery who knows!
If I am in the Emira, my spec is Nimbus Grey, red leather, red callipers, silver wheels, black pack and auto gearbox.
If the Emira has not arrived, I will be in my 65 plate Ford Fiesta which I will park out of view of the event so that I don't steal the limelight from all the Lotus cars on display. :ROFLMAO:
Really looking forward to meeting everyone from this forum that will be there on the day.

OK…I’ve joined the Matlock run….should point out spec is Seneca with alcantara (yellow stitching), black pack, yellow callipers and diamond cut alloys…
Exact Same spec as me! When do you get yours? Did you go sport or touring?

This is getting close and I don't have a Lotus.... 😅
Am I able to attend in any manner still? Happy to make a donation to the event charity etc 🙂

I live in Matlock 😁
Assume I can't sign up with a non Lotus? Would be an awesome experience being in the mix!

You can come on Sunday to Chatsworth without a Lotus and join in the socialising with the parked up cars and owners. I think you just have to pay the usual entry. I think it might be possible to get a guest pass from a participant. I’d need to check.

Group leader from Matlock would be great to have some forum members in my group.

I‘m in the Matlock “regular” group in the Exige.

One of the dealers had been planning to bring their demo car but they’re delayed too. I don’t think HQ are involved but I guess there might be a surprise visit from a press car. I’ve not heard anything.
