Lotus Emira Track Car (Not a show car)

Doesn’t do it justice. But when people find out what these cars sounds like without cats, you’re going to see an uptick in interest. Also the JB4 really is the best mod I’ve done beside the exhaust . The powerband is more track friendly. I just bought a short shifter. I’ll install it and let you guys know. Overall, compared to my e92 m3, the g80 m3 I owned before this Emira and even my gt4, I prefer the Emira. It’s just pure, the sound, the smells, the steering rack, the look, it’s exactly the car I’ve looked for for the last decade. In stock form, this car is a completely different machine though. You need to do the exhaust.

I just want to update this. I’ve now done 10 track days, 2 sets of 2s. I run a Jb4, completely catless, short shifter from grp and headers. I think this is the best sounding car I’ve owned, I just love this thing so much. I see so many mixed reviews, and honestly that really excites me, because I feel like prices will continue to come down, making it more accessible, more folks will race these and parts will become more available as ppl realize how many parts it shares with the Toyota platforms. If you’re debating getting headers and the third cat deleted, this is your sign, do it
