Picked up a model. They didn’t have the Emira in black or dark grey, so I got the Evija as well.

I took Aero's off his hands but I have yet to build it as it's currently in a moving box somewhere. I don't know if you saw, but this unofficial build is very impressive:

Looks closer than the official Lego Evija model, but did he say this project has taken him over a year???

Emira Police edition recently dropped from Kinsmart. May eventually show up in a Target, Walmart, CVS, Kroger or Walmart.

You'll find the website address below, for a different, larger (1:8 scale) and more complex lego Emira MOC (aka "My Own Creation", as opposed to a Lego branded kit). This one has 2,941 lego pieces and more moving components. The creator (he goes by "Combustible Ice" on the Rebrickable website), took 6 months to design it and the webite below includes a YouTube video. Unlike the smaller 306 piece light blue MOC by "Leo1" mentioned above, Combustible Ice charges 20 Euros for good assembly instructions and it costs a lot more to acquire all the Lego pieces. I've just ordered the pieces from several countries (mostly the Netherlands), since I plan to build this larger one. It's the only one I found amongst decent sized scale models or any Lego versions, that matches my red Emira colour, which is the main reason. That, plus its larger scale and since I've never done this before, so we'll see how it goes, putting something like this together. Until now, I didn't realize how enormous the Lego fan and collector universe was, with a ton of dedicated websites and a vast network of sellers for sets and individual pieces. The last time I really did anything with Lego, was 25 years ago when my kids were growing up...

For anyone from the States, planning to do something like this, a common theme I found amongst the overseas Lego sellers was the prohibitive tariff charges, for them selling into the States. You're better off buying "local" to avoid that and there are lots of US Lego sellers to choose from.

With both my oldest grandchildren soon to celebrate their third birthdays, I made a "lego Emira" for each of them as a gift and will encourage their parents to chaperone them playing with their Emiras, until they get older. I still don't see a decent size Emira model the color of mine (red), so lego is my go-to source for now. I used a 250 piece MOC (My Own Creation) designed by VeneciaBricks and I've included a link below to his MOC, which is yellow but I converted mine to red, then made a few other additions. Of all the MOC Emiras, I thought his looked closest to the real thing. I also had my spouse's help to "cricut" my matching licence plate onto the MOC, plus the word "Lotus" onto the "trunk" surface. A fun DIY project, for anyone interested.

Finally opened the box to my 1:18 Emira and wing mirror is broken. Ugh. Not sure how to fix as mirror itself is heavy enough and weird shape hard to glue and prop up.
