Leaky windows

I have had leaks on pressure washer on both sides. Never tried a hose only. I used the grease mentioned above but still getting the leak. If anyone finds a fix using a power washer that would be nice!

I’d let the dealer address the issue; it shouldn’t leak or whistle at speed.

Yeah would hate to go 3 hours to the dealership and have the car in the shop for it just to be a bad design. The power washing pressure could be the issue. I will use a hose like if it’s raining and test it.

Has anyone used a power washer and the windows don’t leak?

Power washer, kind of
I use a snow foam lance attached to a power washer, so not really pushing out true high pressure, and then rinsing it off on the lowest setting the power washer has, which is slightly more than a normal hose, but again, not exactly high pressure either
No issues SO FAR, with water ingress.

I’ve used a pressure washer to rinse the snow foam off and then to rinse the shampoo off. I do stand back when I spray around the windows (thereby reducing the pressure), but I’ve never had any water get into the car. I used to do the same with my Evora and that would sometimes have a couple of drips on the inside of the window.

Hate to be negative, but it's super frustrating that this happens on these cars too. I had endless problems with door seals and water on my 2014 Evora S and again on my 2020 Evora GT, particularly around the front window corner. As someone else stated, this has been a solved problem for other marques for decades, why can't Lotus get it right? I ditched both cars because of all the water ingress problems. (I live in Seattle and sometimes have to park outside, so water ingress is a complete deal-breaker for me).

Kinda sad because after the Evoa GT I went to a Porsche again (911). But I am getting bored with the 911 and miss my Evora's so much, I was thinking to give Lotus a 3rd try... but seems like they still haven't resolved the problems they have been plagued with since... forever

Not sure I would say there is a water ingress problem in general terms. Rain seems to stay out, but use a jet washer at moderate to full power and yes it can sometimes get in.

I feel this. Had to force back a 600lt spider bc it leaked thru roof in rain storms. Cpo car, 4000 miles. Dealer said warranty didn’t cover damage from leaks or making the car watertight. On a car that expensive.

Fully insane
