I’ve been doing some prototyping on my 3D printer to try fix the painful problem of having it on a keyring.

Have absolutely taken inspiration from the solution by @mr.suntorytime and with them being metal (and a great design) they would be more superior to 3D printed versions.

That being said I’d still be keen to know if anyone would have interest in a 3D printed solution in the UK? Should anyone want specific colours, how much would you expect to pay.

If enough interest I’m happy to put more effort in to tidy the design and get some more filament colours. I need to find some way to justify my H2D purchase 😂

Next will be a project for the laser part of the printer 🤔

This is the design I am going for though I am still tweaking to make it look nicer. The colour was just what I had loaded for another print. My next print is a brighter colour so should be easier to see. Welcome any comments or suggestions. Still fairly new to 3D printing and seemed a good project to get started on 😊

Fob v1.0 good to go and initial stress tests the keyring wants to deform before the 3D part.

Why not just loop the tether part through the fob and pass the ring through the loop, no need for extra parts

Fair question, I’m just really not a fan of it 😂

Call me old fashioned but for me the loop should be at the top of the key 🤷🏻‍♂️ now the Porsche key is so much nicer in general.
