今日はEMIRAが５台も集まって楽しいツーリングになりましたね。帰路は箱根の道の駅で30分ほど仮眠して18時に自宅に到着しました。

I thought I had you in my rear view mirror for a while, but a few moments later, I was driving alone !
Don't want to impose, but would appreciate lunch/activity recommendations. Day one we are driving from Tokyo to Izu, stopping at Makaino farms to hopefully get views of Fuji and grab lunch nearby. Second day we are driving from Izu down to Shimoda. Third day returning to Tokyo, I don't have any set plans yet - car is not due back until 8pm that day. The Ryokan I'm staying at has great dinner and breakfast so I likely won't be rolling out of there until 10am. I've been to the east coast previously, including Atami and Jogasaki coast area. Mrs Nova loves unagi and I had planned on hitting Izu panorama park on the way back to Tokyo and grabbing lunch here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Yst48BHvrduKxgBW9 But I would love some other suggestions, especially if it involves some of the west coast since I've not been to that part of the peninsula.

The places on post #1 of this thread were suggested to us from another group (I'm not a local) but I would strongly suggest you drive the "Nishi-Izu Skyline" (let the fast cars pass ). Also, the "Terrasse Orange Toi" located in "Matsubara Park" on the west coast is an interesting piece of architecture if you're into that kind of thing. They serve lunch on the 3rd floor, and the parking is free for 2 hours.

Follow up! I got to meet @virtualmacho and @Tokion during my last night in Tokyo on my trip. They were great hosts and really well represents the high caliber of auto enthusiasts in Japan!
First time in my life driving on the left, I managed to drive from Shibuya to Makaino Farms, by way of Kawaguchiko making only one right turn. After lunch near the farm, we drove the rest of the way to Izu. The next day I drove down from Izu to Shimoda, visiting the Kawazu 7 falls on the way. There was some great mountain roads and I had a great time driving it even though I was just in a Corolla Cross. Driving in Japan was such a different experience than train, bus, or even a hired driver. I was a little nervous being the first time driving on the left, but the excellent road conditions, clear signage, and polite/patient/orderly fellow drivers on the road really made it much easier to get comfortable.
