OK, we can drive through parts of the course, but the section between 万座三差路 and 見晴台 will probably not re-open this weekend due to long overdue maintenance (the road has been closed since August of last year). We will detour south and use the 万座ハイウェー to reach Kusatsu. As a result, we have more twisty mountain roads to cover
