Quiet morning walk.

Six of us leaving the Obasute SA (姨捨サービスエリア) and heading towards the Sakagura Museum to buy premium beer. Nothing special in the video clip, but shows the surrounding terrain.

After the Sake and Beer Museum, we headed off towards Kusatsu Onsen (草津温泉) hot springs via National Route 292 "Asama-Shirane-Shiga Sawayaka Kaidou" (浅間・白根・志賀さわやか街道) We could not travel the entire course due to volcanic activity in the area, but the uphill leg was not bad - cloudy with occasional sunshine. There was, however, a Safety Car all the way.
The video is over 20 minutes long: viewing at max speed is recommended.


Then, it got all foggy with limited visibility. We made it an occasion to learn how to turn on the rear fog lamps on the Emira.

Day 2 was from Kusatsu Onsen down the Usui Touge (碓氷峠旧道) consisting of 184 corners. We start from the Karuizawa side, entering from corner #184 counting down to #1 at the Gunma side. Unfortunately, my GoPro was not recording, so only have dashcam footage. It's blurry, but you can see small white and blue signs on the side of the road showing the corner number.

今日は洗車してもらいましたが、フロントグリルのメッシュ部分が赤茶色に変色していました。 志賀高原の峠道「塩カル」の影響でしょうか？洗車店に、色々洗剤を試してもらったのですが、汚れは取れなかったですね。赤錆の感じもしますが、、皆さんの車は変化がありましたか？
