How many miles you got on your Emira!?

Passed 14,000 miles today (April 17). One month to go to reach my 1 year anniversary. Will book the car in for its second oil change and to have the TSB applied for the water incursion bib to be installed. While I’m there I will see if they can install the GRP spacers, short shift kit and some titanium exhaust tips. Will tackle the aluminum shifter shroud myself over the weekend. 😃

Impressive - that's the highest mileage I've seen Stateside. We probably took delivery around the same time (May 18, exactly 11 months for me) and I just crossed 3,000 miles. Only issue was TPMS replacement (all 4).

Hi - i'm curious what is was / how it was fixed? Grateful for any light you have shed on that.

Graeme
HI Graeme,

I write a "Living with a Lotus Emira" journal for Absolute Lotus magazine. The answer to your question was covered in the May / June 2024 issue. Hope this helps::

1850 miles with 2 issues. U0121 & P0451. When to the dealership. They did CEM update 131-25010. Issue resolved. A new issue has been discovered with the passenger seatbelt sensor. If you put your phone on the seat, the seatbelt light turns on :( Well, it is a Lotus, so I let it go.

This is strange mine doesn’t do that. I have the full leather seats.

But it can be fixed at an upholster company, if the sensor is too sensitive for very little money. It’s a 20 minutes job.

Mine is that sensitive too - It has taught me to place things in their proper place, which has been beneficial in keeping stuff from flying during spirited driving..
