Again 0-60 is irrelevant to track performance. Let's get some first hand accounts with track experience to chime in, as opposed to qouting figures and other people's opinions.

I’ve been right on another Emira’s tail at the track, at Thunderhill Raceway in CA. It was an AMG and I have a V6. You enter the main straight on that track from a 60 mph turn, and we were even, until I had to grab 4th gear. The moment I clutch in, he leaps ahead, because he never loses power to the wheels when shifting.

The transmission is a huge practical difference. IMO, the power difference is less of a factor than different tires or brake pads.
