Thanks to @docron for his info on this, got me to take it out of the box and install it lol.

of note:
I do NOT have the fake engine sound generator on in my car, that was disconnected so there is no AMG sound enhancement in this video (your I4 may sound different)
My windows are down so the turbo is louder than with the windows up (intake will help that eventually)
No engine or exhaust or tune mods during this video except for the BOV
No CEL no perceptible change in throttle or engine behavior
BOV volume is little louder inside the cabin with the windows up

I definitely need to remove the enhanced sound from the speakers so I hear more the of real sound.

'May' increase throttle response.... but mostly for sound really.

Roof scoops on race cars were to let air into the cabin since they didn't have AC. I think they were going for that look with his GSX.
