I found the seller but waited too long. Ugh. Doesn’t look like it’s an option to place an order in the U.S.
Major shippers like UPS and Fedex require sellers in China to pay deposits in advance for the amount of tariff in case US buyers ditch the packages, so I think most sellers are also ditching the US market for other parts of the world now.

AliExpress - there's several links previously in this thread. The link does not appear to work if you are US based.

Yes that's exactly what's happening, I can only find DDP suppliers for products from China and even then these suppliers are reluctant because of the volatility in duties. It's understandably pure risk for them no matter what they do.

Yup the whole situation is pretty bad but at the same time it helps pushing these exporters to explore new markets. Judging from the big crowd in the current Canton Export Convention, importers from the other parts of world are filling up orders nicely.

Doesn't explain why that AliExpress seller won't ship to Australia though
 
Isn't Australia in its own trade war with China already? When Australian politicians threatened to investigate the source of the Covid-19 virus in China? Maybe something to do with this?

That's been sorted out for a while now. China dropped most of the high tariffs on Australian products around Last year I think
Mostly wine and seafood was hit, along with some other products.
When the Coalition government lost to Labor in 2022, tensions thawed with communication restored.
