Dallas Emira Owners

The wheel locks have 9+ different pattern and combos. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but you most likely will need to order one from the dealer.
Well....poop in a pickle jar. Hopefully Earth Motors has one in stock, but I highly doubt. I will likely not purchase another vehicle from that place.

Probably a dumb question, but you checked the tire kit in the trunk and the glovebox. I recall some people finding it in strange places.
I searched all over and it is not there. This is also from the people that "installed" the RecovR unit by simply tossing it in the trunk. That is a joke. It was my bad for considering what appears to be a high-end dealership to have high-end final vehicle prep. Heck, they even put the wrong license plate on the vehicle and had to send me another.

That stinks. Don’t know if it’ll help you, but I found mine in the tire kit, in a small bag, in the trunk. Here’s a pick with the part number, but you’ll need that code for your exact key.

Thanks. I ordered new spline drive from GRP, so I may just use this to extract them.

Personally, I do not like wheel locks, but I have never had wheels stolen....

Yeah, I’ll probably loose the wheel locks when I finally commit to putting the spacers on. I’m not a big fan of them either. Car spends most of its time in my garage, so chance of someone trying to steal the wheels is really low,

I find the wheels spacing on the Emira to be spot on from the OEM. I had a C8 before this and that alignment was horrible. The front and rear of the tires align perfectly with the body, with space on the top of wheel clearance during suspension travel.

I will likely buy some 18" track wheels, but plan to have them sit on the vehicle the same as these OEM.

Obviously, to each their own.

On a separate note, are there any alignment shops in DFW that you would recommend? I am considering lowering mine, but that will be a while as I will buy either the Nitron R1 or R3 suspensions. Too many complications with simply dropping the OEM suspension with the GRP adjustable collars. As far as I can tell, the OEM Lotus suspension is not design to be ride height adjustable, like it is on the C8.

Their service department at Earth is great. Their sales is absolutely dog crap. I asked them to match a deal, they in writing confirmed they’d match a deal, I drove an hour there. Once there they raised the price $15000. I left and bought elsewhere with no issues.

If you do order the wheel lock from parts/service it will take a few weeks or more to get in if they don’t have one on hand, as they come from the UK.

Nice. That is good to know. I had some words with their sales manager. Doubt it changes anything. They did not like my Google review and messaged me asking if I could edit it. I changed it slightly. I will revert to my sentiment once they resolve the $3200 they owe me…which is going on two months now.

You cannot use an extractor without damaging the wheel.

You were not joking about the quality of customer service from the service and parts department, especially Joe in parts.
He gave me the wheel lock from their master set, free of charge.
They looked in the container where is should have been and they could not find it either.

Glad they got you taken care of. The service vs sales is night and day difference. Joe and Gio are both great.

I'm always amazed at how depertments in the same company can vary so much
You would think Mgmt would be all over this sort of disparity.

The purchase process was extremely easy, but I was highly disappointed with their paint correction and ceramic coating. Next to worthless and extremely poor work. I knew I should have done it myself, but we had just moved (last February) and my DA polisher was still in a box.

It completely amazed me, in a very negative way, that they "installed" the GPS tracking unit by just throwing it in the trunk.

Oh man I hate that I missed out on this. Don’t do social media but might start an IG just for my car and keep up with all there.

Simba we connected a while back maybe through Reddit? Either way I’m in the area and have been hoping to meet up with some other Emira owners.

Anything planned in the future? Anyone going to the Dragon next year?

I met Isza (matte wrapped silver) at lotus Dallas while dropping off my car for an oil change and Sofiia the service advisor also gave me that flyer and will be attending.
