Custom wheel pictures

I'm posting 2 photos of my second set of rims: gun metal Aerie V2. I don't think this is 100% what the thread is looking for (it's not "different enough"), however I'll mention that aside from the Emira rims they already sell, Aerie will do custom rims for different styles...just send them a photo of what you have in mind and they'll tell you if it's doable, the cost and how long the wait will likely be and (likely) an approximate weight. I've been very happy with my V2's: they save me about 25 lbs of unsprung weight (all 4 rims combined) and have held up AOK at the track. They're made of Aerospace 6061 grade aluminum, so both lightweight and strong. Aerie also negotiated on the price (and may throw in extras such as the centre caps -yellow or black versions- and/or a TPMS set and/or a short throw shift kit), plus they "helped out" with the customs/border value. Finally, if you're looking to save even more, wait for the Aerie traditional Black Friday or X'mas sale prices, which are great.

That said, some on this Forum have complained about Aerie's response time. It's a small company but they will reply, so you may have to be more patient and they remain a Forum sponsor. I say this, w/o any affiliation with the company. My perspective is only that of a satisfied customer. I'd suggest they're worth a look for comparative purposes, if nothing else. You decide and good luck with your rim choice!

Is that Matte Gunmetal? Do you think that Aerie would be able to do a PVD Black Chrome finish. I am having a very hard time with a great wheel color for Nimbus. I've always been a huge fan of BBS FI-R wheels. They look great.

I ordered gunmetal grey. I’m assuming they’d make your desired finish but best to have them verify. Good luck.
