Custom Floor Mats For Emira

Do you have the screw or post type of anchors? It could be that one of those types results in less pronounced bumps when installing these mats over them.
I think Lotus switched over to the post stye not long after they started delivering to the US - I have seen some that have the screw type, but most have the post type. I agree with @jetblast - I have the diamond pattern w/ the post, and it is not noticeable at all. I wonder if the Modern Line type of mat is thinner, and that is why it is so prominent?

so it appears the newer post-type anchors results in the bumps in the witamats once installed?

I ordered them last night, the modern ones, with the Emira stitching double mat. I'll post some photos when they arrive in about 4 weeks or so.

looking forward to it, planning on getting a set as well

A request for 'rubber floor mats you can hose down'.....darn, I must have mis-moused onto an F150 Forum.....sorry, my bad .
Witamats’ double-layer mats can be easily rinsed off with a hose.

Here's a pic of it installed. I've also included a picture with bump highlighted.
That’s because the single-layer Modern Line is thinner. The Modern Line Double Layer and Diamond Line don’t have this problem.

Also, since the single-layer Modern Line doesn’t have any detailed patterns—just simple lines—it tends to show dirt more easily. That’s why we usually recommend going with the double-layer Witamats.

They should be arriving Friday. Fingers crossed, the car is ready to come out of the shop on Friday too.

Please let us know when (or if) the modern line will be offered for the Emira. Thanks.

Sorry for the delay. I had to travel to India for a month.

The arrived in a single box. The boys loved them when I opened the box and put them out.

My first impression of the modern mats, is I didn't like them. Specially with the gold anker points.

They sat in the garage for almost 45 days. I finally put them in today.

I still am not sure about the gold anker points.

Also they do not lay flat yet, They are held in place by some Velcro. I am going to give them a few days to see they flatten out. It might be my driving style but now I hitting my lower leg on the dash board with the mats in place. Never realized that my leg was that near the dash before. Also they did NOT slip at anytime during the drive after they were installed.

Here is a picture of the trunk mat.

If you have any question let me know.

Has anyone ordered the orange mats? I’d like to know how close they match the tan interior. Thank you in advance.

Is it possible to just order the carpeted mats, and not the layer below?

Finally installed the footwell lights, and took a picture - works really well with the footwell light upgrade, and the Witamats embroidered Emira, lines up very close to perfect...
I’d like to know more about the puddle lights, can you share any details on the product/install? Thanks.

Here is the link - offers several types of the Lotus puddle lights:
Puddle Lights

The install is very easy:

For the doors use a small plastic pry tool, from the front side of the door (the hinge side), to pop the light out. The connection is toward the "end" of the door - sounds counter intuitive, but that is the positioning. It is easy to unplug. plug in the new light (there is a right and left, pay attention to the markings on the light - test before putting back in place), and replace the way it came out - connected end in first then push in the pry side side where you started.

For the footwell lights, they are even easier. They are the same part, which is why I mentioned the several types of lights (should have said styles). However, they are mounted in molded plastic below the glove box, and the steering wheel. if you reach your hand down to the light, then just a little further you will find the edge of that plastic. You should be able to curl your fingers around the plastic and feel the light - then just push. The light pops out easily. Then just follow the same steps - unplug, plug in new and replace connection side first then push in to place..

Hope this helps..
