Whoever thought it was a good idea to give demo rides in the wet (in China), with cup 2 tyres on the car is a bit of an idiot TBH
Whoever decided all V6 MT going to China must be fitted with Cup 2 tyres didn’t think that through very well

confirmed that it was the Lotus sales person(or driving coach?) was driving and trying to drift while the potential buyer is sitting in the passenger seat

Turned off by the driver, while saying “watch how easy it is to drift this car”.

And cold Cup2s on a wet road don’t help, even with all the electronic aids.

All of them can’t overcome the basic laws of physics.
If the tyres are sliding due to not enough friction on the road, then praying to Jesus, Allah, Buddah or any other chosen faith is your best bet!

God what a horrible sight. It's worth nothing though, that the passenger compartment appears to be completely intact, and the airbags have clearly done their job surrounding the passengers inside to protect them.

it happened in china so the cause is probably a Chinese driver.

After somebody quoted my post, I notice there's a typo! It should be "It's worth NOTING", not it's worth nothing.

Well if he was a true salesman he could have turned into a positive regarding the safety features. At least whilst waiting for recovery he could go through the setting on the Kef system so the customer could actually hear it. 😁
Well we did say the V6 MT will be collectable and now there is one less making it a bit rarer. 😂
If this had happened in the UK there would be a few more crashed cars due to the idiots having a good look at the crashed car and not concentrating on their driving.
