Is there an error code reader of choice for the Emira? One that shows all of the codes and, allows them to be reset?
Needs to be something available in the UK

Have to drive to the dealer on Wednesday, just for them to read the CEL code I currently have and for them to then determine next steps. Even the guy on the phone said if I had a Code reader, I could get that info myself and just tell them, saving me a trip.

Suggestions appreciated.

JB4 reads and delete codes, however I dun think it will show a compete set of all codes unless you use the factory program.

Any other suggestions?
I seem to remember people stating whether their readers worked or didnt with the Emira. It seemed quite few didnt.

it falls short for sure for code reading for our cars. i tried clearing a code recently and it wasn't able to see any issues. while my MX was able to read and clear.

I use the "Torque" app from the Google Play Store and a cheap generic ELM327 OBD2 Bluetooth adapter from Amazon

It's a generic code reader, will allow you to reset.

It won't do anything to do with airbags though

This topic has been covered before on the Forum: there are a couple threads you'll find, with a search of "ODDII".

That said, the BlueDriver mentioned by Rcktmn above, looks to be the best generic scanner I know of so far, since it has "Lotus" on its vehicle menu, unlike most others. So it recognizes the Emira VIN and brings up some codes. But to figure out and properly deal with all Emira codes, you really need a subscription to the factory software, which is expensive and beyond anything I'd try to access, but that's just me. There's a reason Lotus guards access to its software IMO: to encourage us to visit and support their dealerships.
