There are the photo,which are took from shanghai Port in China today morning. Chinese special Hp400 i4 prepares to check the 3C certification ASAP,hope owners can receive new car next month due to Chinese 3C progress need 4-6weeks. Finally,almost 3 years, ‘Darkest Hour’.

Did you mean "almost 2 years"? Or did you really have a deposit down a year before the reveal?

Do you mean China is getting 400 hp I4 versions? This is very strange as more than one person at the factory has told me China is not getting 400hp versions, if anything emissions laws are stricter.

Yes, only China get. It’s describe under the Chinese Lotus official website. You can
Googled the lotus official website and change the national region to the China (Mainland), it would show ur answer. Or maybe just translate this screenshot~~~

how is it possible that the 400 BHP i4 with a DCT is 4.3sec 0-100km same as V6?

Something seems odd.

I wonder if the CN version and ROW version are both 400hp, but they under report it just for marketing reason. Since they are not getting the V6 in China, they can just rate it at 400.

Only Chinese version own hp400 2.0 T,due to the v6 MT didn't plan to be imported on the first moment in china. The main reason about V6 MT import is I4 official universial delay. About the same 0-100, Chinese marketing said it just target performance,these data would change after real cars arrive. 400HP should not lied or see lotus leader in the court. lol

bcz,If AMG own same hp,only a fewww people would choose V6 AT, that's the truth Chinese only have V6MT & 2.0DCT.

They are doing it to make the V6 buyers feel better. There is *NO WAY* that the M139 at 400HP is not faster than the 400HP V6. It won't make much of a difference in real life but paper racing is very important.

I think it's pretty logical why the I4 was 360HP to start for the rest of the world, and why China got a 400HP version.

They know they would lead off with the V6 powertrain because it's ready to go. They don't want the order books to contain a lot of people waiting for the I4 so they lowered the power to 360, justified by the lower price point as well. This two-tiered product structure gives people enough reasons to go for the V6.

China did not initially have a 2-tiered product structure and was supposed to be I4 only. There was no reason for them to reduce the power of the I4. They only made the V6 available to China because of the lengthy delays.

No lies - 360 is 400 when rounded to the nearest hundred.
I always consider any technical spec in China to end in "ish". As in 400-ish HP.

Years ago was part of a group investigating why aluminum vanes in a certain model wind turbine were failing at a miserable rate. Turns out the aluminum parts sourced from China did not meet the required engineering specs - and not even close. However, they did provide "certified" tests that showed their aluminum met the required strength. Clearly accuracy in that country can be within an order of magnitude. If I was a betting man, I would say dyno results are closer to 360-hp.
