Breakdown cover

Can anyone tell me if the Emira warranty includes breakdown cover or not? I know most new cars manufacturer warranties includes it now but can't see it mentioned anywhere and wanted to check before sorting my insurance out if not I will get it added to my car policy.

My understanding is that Lotus Assist will be delivered by the RAC and this covers you on the road and at home. They will get you going if they can or recover the car to the nearest Lotus service centre. They will provide options to get you home and this depends on circumstances on the day. I think the cover is for 3 years now, it used to be 2 years when I had my Evora. As I said this is my understanding so please don't rely on this info!
