The patterns have gaps around the side vents and where the buttress meets the trunk at the back of the car. My installer was adamant that stretching around these areas wasn't going to be successful without cutting these areas. Did your installer have a hard time with those spots? Is the colored PPF thinner? Did they use another piece in these areas?I got full PPF, but that was just because I used color PPF to get the color I wanted. It cost $7000, but color PPF should be more expensive because the installer needs to be more vigilant about stretching, overheating, seam lines, and covering 100% (e.g., the normal Emira cut template around the side vents wouldn't work for color PPF since there's a big gap).
