Yup. 2 piece and the face is sort of a champagne gold in a polished finished with the lip being polished silver. I really like how subtle the gold is.

Almost a year after they were delivered I've finally been able to mount my new Aerie V2 wheels. Gloss black - so I had to dust them a bit as they had been sitting a year in my shed - you can see I missed a bit on the rear wheel from the photos.
The seem to very well made, no issues at all with them I can see, no fitting issues and my usual tyre guys had no problems fitting the tyres on them.
The difference in weight between these and the stock wheels is noticeable just from moving the wheels/tyres around (between shed and the car).
I think they look great on the car.

So a little update on my Aerie wheels - initially after mounting and balancing there was noticeable steering wheel shuddering at 70+ mph. Took it to another shop for road force and they were only able to adjust fronts slightly which helped with the shuddering. Now I have slight random shuddering at about 79, 82 and 91mph. Last shop owner said they've experienced aftermarket wheels that are just like that.
Before I take it to dealership, anyone has a clue?

High-speed vibration can be frustrating, but we’d love to help you diagnose this before your dealership visit. A few technical details to verify with the shop:
- Hub-Centric Fitment: Ensure the wheels are fully flush and correctly seated on the hub.
- Torque Sequence: Check that lug bolts/nuts were torqued in a star pattern to avoid off-center mounting.
- Road Force Values & Cup 2s: Stiff, track-focused tires like Michelin Cup 2s are extremely sensitive to Road Force Variation (RFV). Do you happen to have the exact RFV numbers from the second shop?
- Bare Wheel Runout: A quick check on the balancing machine without the tire mounted can quickly tell us if the wheel itself is running true.
Rest assured, if we confirm that the issue is due to a defect in our wheel, we will immediately provide a full replacement under warranty at no cost to you.
Also, check to see if there's a red dot on the outside of either of the front tires. If so, is it at or near the location of the tire valve stem? A red dot on a tire indicates the heaviest part of the tire, and should be mounted on the rim opposite the valve stem.

No problems with my Aerie V2 wheels at speed. I have Cup 2s on mine too.
You mention that they have been balanced - any issues with the wheels (and tyres) that could cause vibration at speed should have been caught then. Any warping, deformation or odd weighting would be seen during the balancing.
Assuming the balancing was done competently your problem with steering vibration may lie elsewhere.
My Aerie V2 rims were flawless right of their nicely packed boxes, my tire shop who installed them were pleasantly surprised at the quality (single forged aircraft aluminum 6061 rims) especially for the price paid, and they've given me 2+ years of problem-free use, including high speeds on the street and track, plus aggressive cornering on the track. Aerie was admittedly slow to ship and a bit slow with some communication, being a small company, but they delivered everything as promised (I purchased more than just rims), at a price far less than their competitors. And for Crazyprac's benefit, the V2's give you an unsprung weight reduction of about 25 lbs (all 4 rims combined) compared to OEM, which is great for the track. You can do better with other much more expensive rims, but 25 lbs is still a significant saving. Finally, this is NOT a "paid commercial": I have no affiliation with Aerie; I'm just a regular customer like everyone else. If there is a rim problem, I've no doubt that Aerie will make it right.

Tires had 500 miles and stored properly until they were mounted on the aeries. Thanks all for the advices!
Check the treads of your tires too. You might have some coins embedded in them.

I was considering powder coating my stock black rims to a pale gold for my shadow grey Emira, but seeing mixed reviews on yelp for local shops and taking into consideration pricing is not a lot cheaper than just getting another set of rims (looking at aeries Champaign gold V2) I’m close to pulling the trigger and ordering. A few things are holding me back though, shipping times to SoCal, concern regarding shipping rate quote vs actual cost, and additional tariffs. If anyone in SoCal ordered, what was your experience in terms of time, shipping costs, additional tariffs? Thanks!

How much have you been quoted for powder-coating in the US? I had my stock wheels both refurbished and powder-coated for £250.
you have go go east to get a good price on powder coating and such. bulletproof coating is supposed to be fantastic.
you can also order a set of wheels from me!
Quotes ranged about 200-300 a wheel including removing tires, powder coating, reinstalling and rebalancing tires. I’ve got 5500 on my eagle F1 and still lots of meat in them. The benefit of purchasing an extra set of rims lets me get another set of tires and the ability to switch between gold and black rims.
