I saw these sets of TPMS on eBay the whole set of 4 are £75 - about the price of a single OEM TPMS from a dealer. So I figured they were worth testing as I was changing my tyres anyway.

They are sold as coded for the Emira. You can also chose the colour of the valve stem possibly to match your wheels - a little bonus.

They are quite different to the OEM ones. But appear to be well made - probably better made than the OEM ones, with metal valve stems and metal valve caps. The brand is Electrqnicx - really pushing that sensational spelling there - but this is a German firm which tends to suggest these are of German manufacture. They come in a German labelled box but with English instructions.

I had them fitted and they are working with no issues - the Emira picked them up after about 10 minutes driving - also inflating front wheels they picked up the changed pressures again after 10 minutes of driving. No recoding needed. Obviously I can't vouch for how long the internal batteries will last but for the price seem to be decent.

Here's a link to them on eBay --> https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/286783007237

Did you have a hard time finding a tire shop that would install them for you? I've found them to be pretty picky.

Thanks! It looks like I'll be needing a second set soon; I'll give these a shot. Looks to be about 100 USD, and I have a local wheel shop that will for sure install them and mount tires.

Do they need to be replaced every time you have a tyre change, or can the old ones be reused?

Im interested in an aftermarket set that also lets me connect to an app and track temps 👀

They can be re-used. Most TPMS normally last 5-10 years so through several sets of tyres. But you do need to take off the tyres to replace them. I could have reused mine with no issues - I just wanted to see if these aftermarket ones worked given they were so cheap.

Thanks, very helpful (y)

Did you or a tire ship shop register the new set of TPMS sensors with the car? Curious if you used an Autel or other device for doing that. Thanks.

Good question as I was wondering about that before I had them fitted.

But the TMPS just worked with no registering or coding needed. My Emira picked up the new sensors within about 10 mins of driving.

They are sold as "Coded for the Emira" on the web site. The tyre fitters did offer to code them if needed but not needed.
