Well I just got a notice from UPS that I'll have to pay the delivery driver $67.28 to receive the ti delete pipe I ordered from Aerie. Apparently this is due to the tariffs. Now I know why Aerie discounted it. It looks like they're trying to offset the effect of tariffs, so after the discount, you're still paying retail due to the tariff charge. Not a big deal on a $229 item, but this pretty much closes the door on a custom ti dual exhaust system that would probably be somewhere around $4k-5k, even from them. A 30% tariff on that adds too much.

UPDATE:
UPS gives you the option to pay ahead of time online, which I did, and it's $12 cheaper if you do it that way, so it was $55.28.

At least the delete pipe is on track to be delivered Thursday.

i thought there were no tariffs under a certain value. I bough a shift knob from the UK and it did not have a tariff and was about the same price. Maybe it's different by country though.

@Eagle7 have you thought about the CF hood or rear louvers to save quite a bit of weight? I don't personally like them, but I know they would save a good bit of weight..

So fitted a Jack Webb Motorsport Li-Ion battery this morning……10.1kg saved. Also thought the battery bracket was a bit over engineered so trimmed that down a bit. Not sure how much weight that saved, but I felt better after doing it!
