Pedal Box:
No news here, but the foot box is fairly tight and the pedals small for us big footed people. You must be very deliberate with your foot placement to allow heel-toe… For me I have to pay attention to the shoes I wear as well.

Minor annoyance with the seating position…for me it’s fairly difficult to get the seating adjusted just right. When I find that spot where the pedals work well, my knees lightly touch the bottom of the dash assembly. Otherwise it’s comfortable, but I worry a little about safety in a front end shunt…

Minor project today…couldn’t stand the visor stickers!

So I think this car has learned the way from Indiana to Tennessee...
Had to slog down in the rain, but as always, the roads down there were worth it!

Interesting that you can see the small plumes coming out of the rear wheel vents.

Even dirty as hell, this car retains it's photogenic nature...

A good way to begin the driving season!

Sometime toward the end of the trip, the car threw a CEL while idling at an overlook.

Picked up an OBDLink MX+ and found it to be P0456, a small evap leak. This was the first time that I can recall filling the tank to the point of auto-shutoff, so hopefully it was a glitch and will stay cleared…

I live in the flyover, so the odds of seeing any Lotus are fairly large. Was more than a little surprised to see an Evora 400 in the work lot next to mine…

I love the look of the piano black rockers and aero pieces…but they will eventually drive me crazy. 🤪

We drive the car a lot so they take a beating, and it doesn’t help that their finish seems a bit fragile. In hindsight I should have PPF’d them.

Will likely end up ordering a new set and storing them away for a refresh somehere down the road…lol

A few touring laps this weekend.
Hope to get a proper track day scheduled this summer…

Pouring rain, but we popped into Graham Rahal Performance for Cars & Coffee. Their new facility is pretty amazing…😍

Caught the Dragon during a quiet time and had a mostly uninterrupted zing…

There were some damp patches on the northern end, so I had a play in a few corners. The missus was not amused!

Killboy photo almost looks like AI…

I'm not sure what's considered so nice about the porka, I have to be honest, I always thought they looked boring and plasticy inside, I wouldn't wanna sit behind that dash. Just very ordinary, 'could be VW' type stuff.

I appreciate that many will consider that blasphemous, but so-be-it, I've never been a fan of those cars.

That's not to say I wouldn't like to see the Emira with at least 'virtual' round analogue style instrument cluster shown on the LCD.

Maybe at some future point in time, someone clever will write the code to achieve that?

I loved the original Giugiaro Esprit style 'command binacle' and old skool gauges. I felt that style broke the mould when it appeared in 1976 and felt very special.

They're an ergonomic nightmare and the seating position is more upright like a truck than a sports car but everything is of high quality and hardly "plasticy"

Painting them would restore any wear and provide a better surface for PPF. It doesn't like to stick to the plastic.

Fair enough.
To be fair, or probably not fair, I'm referring to the 911's of the 80's (never been in, or near one since) when the interiors were most definitely plasticy and shite, and the internal door handles felt like they were gonna snap off every time you pulled on em. (see below)

That and the flattened beetle styling, combined with the blind faith cult following put me off them for life.

Back then, you could get into a fight to the death with someone over how amazing they were (n't), who had never even sat in one, let alone driven, or owned one.

These types...
