Overall, it has been an absolute blast to drive!
Vehicle Spec:
- 2025 Manual V6 with Touring Suspension, Goodyear tires, Autumn Bronze exterior, Black Leather/Grey Stitch Interior.
Modifications & Tips:
- GRP 3rd Cat Delete Pipe
- GRP Catch Can
- GRP Air Intake: Tip for installation—when removing the OEM filter box, take off the cover and filter first before removing the back half of the box.
- Milltek Exhaust Controller - Version 2.
- GRP Short Shifter: If I could only do one mod, this would be it. The shifts feel much more positive and precise compared to the stock setup. Tip for installation: Put the transmission in neutral and mark the position of the shifter cable to preserve the neutral position. Screw on the kit until it fits onto the shift linkage pin without shifting the neutral position, then tighten the lock nut.
The Bad and Ugly
- Stereo: The audio quality is subpar and phone call quality is poor. However, given how great the intake and exhaust sound, I will not use it and prefer to pull over for calls because of the shitty sound.
- Suspension: The Touring suspension is a bit too soft for my personal preference and has more body roll than I’d like. While it works well for tire loading in corners, I prefer a firmer setup. Upgrading the suspension will be my next project.
- Wind Noise: There is a bit of wind noise from the rear of the door windows above 120 km/h, but it is minor.
The Good to Great:
- Styling: It is an absolutely beautiful car and gets a lot of compliments.
- Driver Engagement & Sound: The analog feel is incredible, and the exhaust and intake notes sound fantastic. It puts a smile on my face every time I take it out for a rip.
- Cabin Aerodynamics: Airflow management in the cabin is superb with very little air turbulence, making driving with the windows down a great experience.
- The cabin fits me like a glove 5'8" 170 lbs. The interior is a very good balance and I like the placement of the physical center console buttons and hvac controls.
