1-day owner and the mod disease has already infected me

I can’t verify it, but I was told yesterday by someone who’s apparently just bought the CT diffuser that it now comes with a cut out allowing air into the vent. I can’t confirm it, but worth checking.
Gotta see it to believe it

I would also like verification for this as I'm hoping to buy some aero bits soon.

Here is my contribution to the carbon switchover. The sodeskirts are stock black and the rear diffuser is black but has carbon fin extensions. Doesn't feel overdone and feedback from those who have seen tend to agree.

Wish I wasn’t in California, none of these changes are legal and they now test for tunes. They will fail smog if a tune is detected.
The JB4 is removeable and the 3rd Cat delete they don't check for, no?? asking for a friend

I do not live in that state, but it would not surprise me if they stuck a bore scope up the tailpipe.

Have you put it into track mode? It keeps the valve's open much longer, the Emira is not a quiet car even compared to other exotics.

@VF Tuner
Nobody has posted actual JB4 time figures with a dragy aside from one guy on reddit. The difference in speed in his pulls was around 20%, which is substantial, but it seems like he didn't really know how to drive the car and test it if I'm being honest, the perception I've gotten is that it's slightly more than that in the real world.

Well although mine is a I4 I have gotten 0-60 3.2 seconds and 11.3 @ 122mph. Street tires on street DA of 1500' . Prep track, lowered tire pressures, warm tires I believe 10.9 may be possible . Draggy Pro measured

Their new smog check looks at ecu writes. If your ecu was modified, you auto fail the test.

This is just my own personal experience but I couldn't get the JB4 to account for the extra air from a catless header. Car was stuck in limp mode "system lean" codes and that's with the OBDII connected. Intake and exhaust should be fine. Header may require an ecu unlock and flash tune. There may be someone out there who got it to work but I couldn't.

I thought I'd post this here, I think it is quite enjoyable:

Too great. I wonder if this will help my wife understand me....likely not.
I am about to wrap mine with colored PPF. I love purple but found a good deal on an Atlantis Blue and had reservations buying the purple because of potential resale value and demand.

They can always remove the PPF
Live your color dreams and go with a dark purple. That would look amazing!

That is going to look amazing! Can’t wait to see it on the car. I will start a show me your wraps thread

We've got to have pics of this when it is done!
I just ordered a plethora of parts and the items from @Aerie should arrive late April. I could not resist my second favorite color...carbon fiber, so it will receive the full treatment to make this a show worthy car.

I also owe @Aerie some marketing pics, so I will take the DSLR out of the bag take some high quality pics when it is done. Our daughter wants to help with the build and I will have her doing the "photo journalism" as we go. It will be interesting to see the pics an 11 yr old captures.

@blueEmira
What did you use for your rear light blackouts?
I have some tint film I am thinking about applying.

Mine are actual covers that fit very well. I believe they were eBay but I did send Greg @GRP the link to them as he was ordering as well. I have removed them now to see if I like stock better.

Sorry, were you asking me (bluemira) or BlueEmira?. There are 2 of us with similar names.
Hah, if anyone has some tail light blackouts to sell so my cheap ass can purchase for less than retail.
