£6k price hike but thread closed?

Got a lotus email this morning but not the one I'm waiting for!(checkout)
Looks around a £6k prices increase for the FE
Wondered why the price increase thread has just been closed following this news ?

I closed it as there's another thread dedicated to this topic based on the official Lotus announcement (not a speculative price increase in the original thread).

Nothing sinister going on - promise! I just want to avoid posts on the same topic across two similar threads.
