That’s where I am getting worried, If I am #3 then how come lotus hasn’t called me to take the final order yet . Something just doesn’t add up.

I placed the order with dealer in Austin TX. originally I was # 11 but now I am down to #3 according to my sales rep as they had many cancellations. I hope they aren’t playing with my me emotions :)

Yes I am told I am getting the FE. They had some drop out that made me Into their FE allocations

I spend at least an hour everyday in search of Emira news updates across Facebook, news sites, this forum and other social media platforms. This is now starting to impact my daily life and time to do some real work but I can’t help it :)

Has anyone who put deposit in august in US finalized their order with Lotus yet? I am a late August depositor and wondering when will I get the call for the final build.

Chevy has decided to kill the corvette Z06, this should have an increased demand for Emira. I know they are not in same class but just the exclusivity factor makes me think this may have an effect.

Please post if you have completed your final order in with Lotus along with your original deposit date with the dealer in USA. I presume everyone who put deposit in early July has been contacted by Lotus?

Spoke to my dealership today and got the confirmation that LOTUS has accepted my order for production for September. This is going to be long six months!

I put deposit on a C8 Z06 about 18 months ago and my dealer wants me to donate 50k to their charity fund in addition to MSRP.

I think you can’t go wrong with FE. Just the bundle discount on options will justify the value not to mention the exclusivity

I am too bit disappointed with 400bhp in Emria. At the very least it needed to match the Evora GT numbers. Is that too much to ask?

I share the same sentiments. I ordered a magma but now starting to doubt myself if it is too maroonish rather than red.

Having engine bay panels will make it lot easier to do it. That is good news!

I typically do my own maintenance but not sure if I would do the clutch on new Emira.

It is likely going to be a $10-15k clutch job I would expect.

I would be very happy if I can get half that.

I don’t go on tracks and race but I do drive my cars like a sports car should be driven. What do you guys think how many miles can I get out of new clutch before I need to replace it. Any Evora owners here with their insight would be great.

I look at it differently. Ideally one should have stood up in the line early and paid the deposit for it early. If you don’t make an effort to get in line early than it will cost you. 15k seems like a good deal to me if you want it now or you can choose to wait 1-2 years. No one is forcing...

I think $15k more for 1.5 years early is absolutely worth it. With interest rates going up and price of vehicles going up this will all balance out. Not to mention the biggest smile on your face every time someone comes up to you and says is that a new Ferrari? 😃

I find hard to believe that Dallas dealership is getting 50 allocations. Lotus of Austin only got 17 even though they are the largest lotus dealer in Texas. They even had the Emira showing event there. So not sure how can Dallas dealer get 50.

I agree with you on performance of cayman but the looks are just too boring for me. I wish Porsche put bit more effort on exterior styling
