In my current spec I would actually add the red seat belts. If I were to order all new in 2026 I would redo it as a purple race line with the lower silver accents and alcantara with grey stitch.

So as an update when I took it to the dealer last month they stated I needed new cables. I got word that the parts will all be in by end of this week. Hopefully Ill get it into service early next month and have an update about it being tick free and a parts list of what they swapped. fingers...

the ppf guys should be doing basic paint correction before applying the film anyways so realistically it should be fine.

Im just going to use this post to point out a car I dont think gets enough love. I think the Islero is a gorgeous car. The attachd picture is of Ferruccio's own Islero he had made to match a boat he bought around the same time. Its an amazing spec.

For any that may not know, they changed the retainer system for the mats at some point. They dont use the twist screws anymore. Now they pop down on a post. I have the new system and it does float the mat a bit. I have no idea why they did it like that. I just filed it under Lotus quirks.

My mirror certainly vibrates under certain conditions. Its not enough that its ever bothered me but it can be seen if you focus on it. I haven't experienced the other issues OP had though.

I would imagine anyone with money enough for this car can pick up a code reader too. If you pop a code and it has anything to do with the MAF or emissions you best have an OEM filter in the air box when it goes into the dealer. At a minimum make sure its not an oil type they find in there.
