any mod can potentially void your warranty but ultimately it is up to your individual dealership.I am interested. But i will wait dyno result. Didn’t lotus say opening lid will cost the waranty?
Here's my suggestion for the graphics. Gloss black on the tops of the graphics. If you decide to use it, my fee is a complimentary supercharger cover.attached is our prelim. design.
Note, the TOP text/wording location is not finalized.
We want to ask the community their input because it needs to be aesthetically pleasing.
So we can simplify it (VF) logo only in the middle,
Or "SUPERCHARGED" text horizontal instead of Diagonal, etc.
Color Options:
Black
Red
Purple
Blue
Cost:
Pre-order pricing : $825
Thank you! Here's my suggestion for the graphics. Gloss black on the tops of the graphics. If you decide to use it, my fee is a complimentary supercharger cover.

Have you tried getting licensing?Thank you!
we can't use the LOTUS name though.
zero chance of that happening, also that's quite likely to increase the price beyond what makes sense for the part.Have you tried getting licensing?
Gotcha. Okay, what about something like this? Looks kind of Lotusy. Again, the tops of the graphics are gloss black.zero chance of that happening, also that's quite likely to increase the price beyond what makes sense for the part.
We'd also need new engine surround trim pieces as wellBut then you'd also have to sit further to the left....![]()
Fair enough, that makes sense.carbon fiber lid we are not considering at this time, due to so many heat cycles we can't guarantee it would last forever without any cracking around the bolt holes.
Second with that would be..cracking around the bolt holes over time., and the oil exposure.
finally, cost. A custom CF piece like this with the internal ribbing could be extremely expensive.
I like this design, and generally anything close to the stock look. Personally I'd like the "V6" at the bottom without the word "Supercharged" because I already added it as a separate stick-on piece to my engine bay surround trim.Gotcha. Okay, what about something like this? Looks kind of Lotusy. Again, the tops of the graphics are gloss black.

Yes it should help, although I can't *confirm* how much it will on the JB4, as we don't have one. And the JB4 works by reducing load and leaning out fuel by modifying sensor signals. So it can only reduce heat by so much if the engine is running leaner. Will this new lid help reduce the increased heat temperatures that will be caused by installing the JB4 tune with MAP 2 on the supercharger?
Is the $825 the pre order price?
How long is the pre order price valid until?
What will the regular price be afterwards?
Maybe a dumb question, but how tall does this stand compared to the stock lid? Still low enough to make no difference in rearward vision?
Also, without derailing the topic (but still feels relevant given you brought up heat soak), have you guys had experience in water/meth injection, and is there any chance you'll look at doing an intake pipe with an injector port?
If you are looking at water/meth, a nice custom-moulded tank that could be tucked right into the right-hand end of thethe highest height is 100mm. It fits no issue.
We are working on several products, and once our stock ECU tuning is released we will have flex fuel as well.
