Nope.Your VIN is not in any of the tracking sheets?
OK..so I embellished a little. My dealer actually said "it's at the port in the UK waiting to be shipped". I added the "...soon" part just so I wouldn't feel so glum. LOL.

Here's the VIN: SCCLEKAX9RHA10550, check it out. Car is still held at Lotus Cars US.What the? Something’s not right with that. Car can’t have been here since December…. All Lotus dealers are low volume…. I thought I was being left behind with a Sep 2021 deposit but you are even father in the dust. My dealer clearly didn’t want to waste time as every day it sits on their lot they are paying interest on inventory.
Sounds like they should be able to give you a VIN. People who have had cars waiting at port usually got a VIN.Nope.

At least they’ve got the excuse of being a carb state. My order is at a non carb state and my car has been somewhere in the US since 12/29… but they still can’t get me a time when they think I’ll be able to pick it upConsidering I was an early depositor, early order and waiting almost three years for a car and seeing cars with much later VINs are being delivered, I have to say that I am probably more frustrated about waiting for my Emira now than any time in the past. My early VIN is completely surrounded by those that have been shipped and my carb state dealer only has..."it's at the port in the UK waiting to be shipped...soon".
Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse...
High praise from Canadian reviewer...
He did seem a little too excited haha.I have a 718 Spyder and prefer the shift in the Emira. I guess it's personal taste. Mind you I have never driven an S200, supposedly the GOAT of the manual shift. I agree on build quality (especially electronics), no way it is on the level of the Germans/Japanese or even Americans.I think his opinions doesn’t sound realistic. The whole “it’s the best manual I’ve ever driven” has lost me. It’s a good manual, but not the best. It does have super car food looks, but like all lotus vehicles, build quality is always YMMV since it’s English hand built.
I agree on the Emira shift feel to be better then the 718 Spyder, especially after the short shifter kit. Especially the clutch/shift sequencing is smoother/more intuitive compared to the Spyder box…..He did seem a little too excited haha.I have a 718 Spyder and prefer the shift in the Emira. I've compiled all of the VINs I could find for the US Emira shipments. What's missing is that I could only find 99 of the 150 VINs for the first shipment dated 12/1/2023. So this list is incomplete. This list will be updated as new shipments arrive.
Well, hopefully it's on its way already. Won't be long now.I have a VIN. Have had it for a while...just no car...
Never driven 718 spyder, but anything with a mod will enhance feel immensely to you suit your own preference.I agree on the Emira shift feel to be better then the 718 Spyder, especially after the short shifter kit. do any of the tech expert here know what causes that low speed noise from the gear box on the emira when you drive of slowly in 1st gear. On the test drive I first thought something was wrong, but every manual I have driven does it……..and my SA said as well, it was normal, all of them were like that…..
Hi all! Been lurking for a while, finally signed up as I’ve just received word from my dealership (Boardwalk) my car is either “already in Baltimore” or “on the water”…but oddly, I don’t see it in Nova’s (incredibly helpful) sheets. I’m VIN -2407. Hmm…
September 2021 depositor, which put me as one of their first FE 2.0s. Jan 2024 build - so I couldn’t be one of the 51 missing VINs from 12/1/23…
Mine is Sport chassis + Cup 2s, Verdant over Tan + Alcantara steering wheel, lower Black Pack, and diamond cut wheels - but I’ve taken to putting gold wheels on all my cars, so that won’t last too long anyway![]()
My Nimbus is waiting for ppf at the dealer. I still have never seen an Emira in person. Oh, the anticipation.......3rd time Ive seen in person.
My car also had a Jan build date, but it only reached final production this month.Hi all! Went to the Dallas Lotus Dealership on Saturday to put a deposit down on a verdant spec. They had some that owners had dropped out of the deposit. Got to go on a test drive and wow this car is a BLAST. Can't wait for mine to come in. Tony told me its about a 12-14 month wait but they said things are now moving faster due to everything picking up faster. Now to get someone to teach me to drive a manual lol

Shift feel is definitely subjective. And I agree with you that the Emira's shifter is better than the manual gearbox on the GT4/Spyder (IMHO). I think it is on par with my 992 gt3 mt, but I don't have my emira yet. A full-on comparison is due on the Emira Journal subforum.I agree on the Emira shift feel to be better then the 718 Spyder, especially after the short shifter kit. Regarding the god of mt, the Honda s2000, I just cannot agree with it. I think the shifter on the S2000 is mediocre at best. Stock S2000 is super underwhelming. To make it shine, you need at least tens of thousands usd worth of mods.
*** Just my opinion, S2000 fans take it easy![]()
