Did you weigh each style seat before installing them?Super comfortable and it's great they can recline and slide for fitment - most importantly great lateral support which the stock seats aren't great at. Weight savings are great too
Another benefit is that the Bride ones can offer recline adjustability. They are not track-focused fixed bucket seats. The weight is 14 kg as listed on the Bride-jp website. What are the pros and cons of these Bride seats compared to Tillett?
From what I see and have read these seem to be more comfortable due to thicker padding, which would be better if you drive to the track.
They also seem to have more bolstering to keep you in place depending on which seat you get. And they also are adjustable to give a more desirable driving positive quickly.
Is there a reason other than looks that would make you buy a Tillett seat?
The only thing Bride doesn’t divulge is the weight of each seat. Does anyone know what the seat weighs?
The Tillets are not comfortable to me for daily use or long driving, they are just what they seem hard shell carbon fiber seats. They are popular with Lotus drivers because they weigh so little, you can change out your two seats and drop almost a 100lbs...which is a lot of weight. What are the pros and cons of these Bride seats compared to Tillett?
