What did you do to your Emira today?

Lotus Drivers Club Essex Breakfast Meet at Barleylands - this morning.

It was nice to meet everyone and some nice looking Lotus there, although I had to scoot off early. Four Emiras there I think among the Elises, Exiges, one Evora and one Elan I think.

Went to the Helmingham Hall Festival of Classic & Sports Cars on Sunday 3rd August 2025. My car was in the East Anglia Lotus Club area.
A good day, quite warm considering the forecast was for rain which came much later in the day.
I met two other Emira owners, (Seneca Blue and Nimbus Grey) whose cars were in the Club Lotus area, and had a good old chat with them.

Did you point them towards this forum ?

Hmm, I naturally assumed they knew about it.
We'll see over the next few days if they see this post. :)
Will also help me as I'm terrible at remembering names!
I also saw their cars at a couple of other events in the past few weeks but not them.

GRP 3rd Cat delete. Car definitely sounds different. More volume, yes, but has a different sound. I did not do the exhaust valve controller. I am not sure I need it.

It wasn't just today but rather over the last few weeks:
(These are in addition to early mods (Spring 2024) of GRP 3rd cat delete and Milltek valve controller (both a must IMO)).
  1. Installed Eventuri CF intake - intake noise is amazing and noticeable power increase after driving 50+ miles. Was pricey though.
  2. Installed JB4 (w/ OBD2) and tested Maps 0/1/2 - after toggling between Map0 and Map2 and doing a few runs this morning, I'm even more convinced there's a massive difference which is especially noticeable in 2nd and 3rd gear pulls. The car is quite fast now and really does push you back in your seat. It really gives it that punch that I feel the car was missing just a bit when bone stock. I don't need any more power mods and the car should be around 530bhp/470whp based on almost identically configured dyno tests that others have run.
  3. Installed GRP 12mm spacers
  4. Installed GRP lowering cups (fronts needs to be adjusted up a bit higher and I'll have a shop do this along with an alignment in about a week). The car scrapes too easily for my taste and is almost too "slammed" in the front but we didn't have time to re-adjust. These took ALLLLLL day to get installed properly and we needed a bigger vise to remove the upper eyelets from the dampers and a spring compressor to get the front upper strut brackets back in.
Pic of it lowered w/ the spacers:

Amazing! I’ve always considered lowering the car with the lowering sleeves but figured the cost is just too high. Can you share a ballpark of what a shop charges for this? My mind is if it’s a grand or 2 you might as well get nitrons and call it a day. It’s probably much easier to just install new coil overs
