What did you do to your Emira today?

Thanks for the insight here. Curious if you track your car? And if so, if you have an opinion as to whether this would be as much of an issue on a non-tracked car, insofar as the heat buildup and fluid situation?
Nope. no track use. I have done rallies that pushed the car to high speed runs, but its nothing that would be a big heat generator like hard track use.

How easy was the access? Did you have to remove the underbody panel?
Here is the mechanic working on it. The thick pad over the top of the engine made it comfortable for him. We checked from the bottom, there is a part that looked like a solenoid that is blocking the area that evora owners used to reached in.

I kerbed my front near-side wheel pretty badly several months ago whilst parking on a kerb stone that stuck out that I didn't notice; that horrible sound it makes when you do this, ouch!
I also then managed to kerb my rear near-side wheel with some "spirited" driving - oops!

I had Prestige Wheel Repairs mobile repair service out today to fix them. Banico took as long as he needed to get both wheels done perfectly, he explained that these wheels are a real pain as not only are they are diamond cut but due to the design, it is likely both painted sections get damaged so it's a more complicated repair. He worked on them for a solid 12 hours, with me supplying a constant flow of coffee, and did a fantastic job.

He charged me £160 per wheel in the end, so not a bad price for a mobile service and I wasn't without the car for several days.

But the quality of the work was great - I can't tell the difference between this and the wheels when they were new. He's based in Essex, UK so if you need alloy repairs in the area I would highly recommend him.
