And why couldn't that green have been on the Emira?

My ‘85 Turbo Esprit (with me at the helm at an autox circa 1993ish). The very last turbo carbureted Lotus. Man that car was so fun to drive. But yes it did give me fits with keeping it going (mostly electrical honestly). That was a clean clean design!

Looks like the US website got a $10K-ish increase overnight to $105,400 USD for a V6.
They aren't selling any more FE's in the US, so I guess they can put whatever price they want! That bump probably is a set-up for the "lower" Base price to be announced at some point.
Thought all dealers in US were told or were telling that FE prices were locked (at 93k). So much for that it seems.

I'd presume unless you specifically have something that shows a contract signed by both entities at that price, that the new price will be what you pay when the car arrives. But I'm a pessimist who'd rather plan for the high number, and be happily surprised if that's not the case.
Well, hopefully we’ll find out about existing orders and reservations soon.

Just went on to the US website, 105K USD is showing in the configurator. Very, very strange.

Im staying optimistic that there will not be a price increase. It will all be good news. Also going to communicate they are ready to start, production and we will get our cars this summer. Man, I'd like to live life this optimistic.

Yeah. It's kind of crazy that I legitimately feel that I will receive the car 3 years after putting a reservation down and it may take even more time than that. (2021 deposit)
Guessing it's going to be a few days before information from yesterday's boondoggle leaks out. This is an opportunity to find out which dealers are the best communicators (Gator clearly in a class by themselves).
