If your contract is for MSRP, I expect they'd be more than happy to take the car off you and sell it for overs; you might even be able to negotiate getting your deposit back + a little profit.

I will be 52 when I take delivery, if I get mine in January. Not so much age per say, but I ordered this car to replace my first love, a 91 1/2 MR2 Turbo. I have owned other cars, but none gave me that rush. I knew I wanted it when I test drove it last year, the rush... But, this is a luxury purchase, and it is becoming more lack luster to me as the months go on.

I'll be 65 when I get my I4 in June 24 but my Lotus sales contact is 72 and he's getting his FE 1.0 in Dec.

Old lotus would ship to dealers anyways, new lotus would hold at port since it's not gasping for cash.

I like that, but with age comes the MORE you have to lose than when we were young, dumb, and full of...

I hope whatever eye problem you're experiencing is correctable. I figure if Harry from Harry's Garage can drive his from the factory all the way to Italy and back on a short trip. I should be fine.

Thank you. My other thought is just take delivery of it and drive the piss out of it while I can then sell for win, lose, or draw.

They will be held at port in bonded warehouse till CARB approval and customs clearance.

Do you already have one on order? There're still some FE I4 March slots available but V6 FE 2.0 are probably all gone so you're looking at May/June 24 V6 Base production.
