I have had this code pop up a couple of times. However, the car is running perfectly.
I am about an hour away from the dealer and have been unable to get there while they have time to look at it. I cleared it, and it'll come back after a few hundred miles. Anyone else getting the same code?

Same issue here, have you had any luck with the dealer? Thanks

This popped up on mine about a week ago. I cleared it and have driven a few hundred miles so far so good

AI recommends to get the car checked:

The U0109 code means "Lost Communication With Fuel Pump Control Module A." This is a serious diagnostic trouble code. It indicates that your vehicle's main computer (the PCM or ECM) is not able to communicate with the fuel pump control module. This is not a minor glitch and is often associated with a "crank, no-start" condition, meaning the engine will turn over but won't start because it's not getting fuel.
Attempting to clear this code and keep driving is not recommended. The problem is not just a sensor fault; it's a critical communication failure that can prevent your car from running at all. The underlying issue could be a faulty fuel pump control module, a wiring problem (damaged wires, poor connections), a blown fuse, or even a problem with the data network itself.
Even if you were to clear the code and the car somehow started, the problem is likely to return and could cause the car to stall unexpectedly. It is best to have the vehicle diagnosed and repaired by a qualified mechanic to identify and fix the root cause of the communication failure.
