Another video with poorly-lit and questionably colour-rendered images of the FE colours

OMG I will definitely be using the spring drops Tom provided the details about from the Evora. Ride height is like a rally car. Hard for me to even look ato_O Thank you Tom for providing a viable future solution for those of us who do not want a 4x4.

Not sure which part of the video you're referring to, but if its the production line at around 1:06 those cars are supported on the jacking points/chassis so the road wheels are drooping. You wouldn't want to drive any car that didn't do this as the suspension would have to be solid... What point in the video are you referring to?

The two Seneca blue cars. I know this is just personal preference and totally get some people are fine with it . Just not for me.

I noticed that too. Maybe it's the reflection from the shiny floor but clearance looked like 7" up front!

Maybe it needed fluids in the radiator or something to weigh it down? The outside pic looks proper 🤷

There's no way those two Seneca cars inside are at the production ride height. Like @NicolasB said, the one outside looks to be the real deal, and that one looks good to me.

At the factory tour yesterday our guide Nick mentioned that all the pre prod cars were sitting too high, although he didn't know the reason. I grabbed a quick word with one of the ride & handling engineers when he was about to go out in a camouflaged development car. This was sitting much lower and he said it was at the production height. Looked spot on to me.

Anyone see the instagram post for the new London Mayfair Lotus Dealer 😲 WOW

Your roads must be like pool tables, we need the high ride height for our UK sports cars 😛

The front height on that interior Seneca car is way off.

Don’t know why, something happening during production to cause this. Maybe spacers to help with a later process step or prevent suspension droop when they are resting on chassis points with wheels hanging free on the AGVs.

Some serious cranking of the color saturation in that video.

I sure hope by the time they produce cars for the US we can convince them to leave the front plate mount off at the factory. Leave it for dealers to install, or not.

For the US it's a dealer-fit item, so in states where it isn't a legal requirement you can ask the dealer to leave it off.

Yeh I’m a director / cinematographer, I shoot commercials mainly but I can tell you whatever camera they’re using is clearly very old. Almost looks like a first gen HD mini DV tape camera. Shooting on an iPhone would be a vast improvement 😂 - Lotus if you’re reading this invest in a nice 4K DSLR from Sony or Canon with a couple of zoom lenses and a radio mic and you’re golden :)
